Scholarship Essays

As Beyonce helps me write these scholarship essays, I'm coming to the realisation that I can state my wildest dreams--

starting a small business fo full-secturm doula services geared specifically towards the queer and trans folks of colour community and trainings for doulas who want to serve these communities

AND

launching a workshop series for elementary-aged kiddos (and their grownups) around anti-O issues (dismantaling the gender binary; challenging anti-Blackness; how the legacy of imperialism and colonialism impact us today) and how youth can become engaged in changing the world, eventually having those young folks doing the work and I'm just the grown-up writing boring grants so they can keep doing the good work

--and so long as I tell a good story about how an accounting degree can get me to these goals (lol), these gay assimilationists will prolly give me their money.

Give me your blood money, rich man. I will burn it in a blaze of glory and the People will rise from the ashes.
